Excellent and very delightful! I recommend blue cheese crusted filet! Our server Taylor, gave the best service I've ever had!

We dined here for the first time and we were both so impressed with wonderful food. We had swordfish with couscous and broccoli and topped it off with warm carrot cake. We both loved the ambiance and the fact that we weren't sitting so close to others. If that wasn't awesome enough, the service was outstanding! Tracey was, hands down, one of the best servers we've ever had at any restaurant! She was so attentive and anticipated our every need, yet not annoying. We will definitely be coming back to this restaurant. Highly recommended in every way!

A solid choice. Can't really go wrong with anything here. The food is incredible, get the artichokes and then anything that touches their grill. I don't know what kind of addictive drug they coat their grill with, but it works lol the Service 99/100 times has been spot on. The one time it wasn't, they sent me home with more carrot cake than I could handle. The over sized booths and candle lit atmosphere really bring everything together as a consistent, wonderful experience.

Our first visit to J. Alexander's and we already look forward to our next visit. The atmosphere was perfect for a date night or special celebration. Our server, Grace, was extremely helpful with our selections, prompt, professional and pleasant. We loved every bite! Smoked Salmon Dip, BBQ Thai Salmon, Crab Cakes (we even made some substitutions which included the Mac-n-cheese - I would go back just for that) and for dessert, the best carrot cake I've ever eaten!

Dined here with friends yesterday and it was fantastic from start to finish. I feel like I should mention that we all used to work here in college about twenty years ago so our standards are high and we are all very versed on the menu. Working here was like restaurant boot camp although we always talk about how it helped shape our work ethic and customer service skills in entirely different careers moving forward. The menu has not changed much which was a pleasant surprise because I was craving some spinach queso dip like you wouldn't believe. We obviously could not order everything on the menu but shared a prime rib sandwich, a veggie burger, and ahi tuna with fries, salad, couscous, and not your ordinary Mac and cheese. Everything was just as good as I remembered. Portion sizes are huge so there is no way we could have gotten more food but the one thing I had fomo over was the smashed potatoes. I was able to dip my fries in the creamy horseradish sauce which is a national treasure, but it's also insanity on the smashed potatoes as well. We also shared a piece of carrot cake which I highly recommend. Service was excellent, and our server was super friendly and humored us by allowing us to tell her about our shenanigans from "way back when" Ambiance is nice, with some updates but still the same dark classic vibe. Great restaurant for prime rib and more if you get the chance to check it out!

Great experience with amazing food (best steak burger I've ever had). Our server was professional and helpful. The dark candlelit setting was a sexy esthetic, it was perfect for a celebratory dinner. Fries were crispy and delicious. I couldn't stop eating them. The rattlesnake pasta was very unique. I wasn't expecting it to have almost a Mexican flavor to it but boy was it delicious! The steak burger came out perfectly made and was so savory. We also started with the deviled eggs and we both couldn't believe how delicious they were. The candied bacon was a great touch.

Wow! The service, the food, the atmosphere is all phenomenal. We stopped by this restaurant on a road trip and boy was it good. They seated us immediately without a reservation. I ordered a steak with baked mac and cheese. The steak was undercooked when it arrived but the waiter was back at the table before I could even call her! She immediately took it back to be corrected. This would definitely be a "staple" restaurant if we lived closer. And to top it off our waiter brought us a complementary carrot cake. It was warm, sweet, gooey perfection! I have been waiting to try J. Alexander's at Crosswoods. I was very happy with the House Salad with the house vinaigrette and the Prime Rib with Au Jaus and Horseradish Sauce was divine and delicious. I know the steaks are Prime and top notch. The service from Eva and another server was wonderful in taking care of my friend and I. She loves going to the Easton location. I love the ambiance at this J. Alexander's and I will check the Easton location too.

Always great service and wonderful food. Was here to celebrate my mom's 84th birthday. We usually always come here for her birthday as she loves the prime rib. I got the tuna this time which was wonderful. Wine selection was good, and we enjoyed a wonderful evening with a good friend. One last thought, you need to do a happy hour. One of the few nice restaurants that does not have a happy hour. Very odd. We will be returning next year for a birthday celebration, maybe not before as we do like a little happy hour.
